Viva Energy is one of Australia’s leading energy companies. We’re proud to be Australian, proud of our 110-year history and extremely proud of our achievements.
We proudly own and operate one of Australia’s four oil refineries at Geelong in Victoria, and a nationwide network of more than twenty fuel import terminals from which we supply around a quarter of the country’s total liquid fuel energy requirements. We are backed by the worlds’ largest independent trader (the Vitol Group), and are the exclusive supplier of high quality Shell fuel and lubricants in Australia.
We help Australians reach their destinations. We do this by making, importing and delivering the fuels, lubricants, chemicals and bitumen they need to get there. We’re with workers on their daily commute; with families on their school run; with truck drivers moving freight across the country; and with machinery operators in the mining, aviation and marine industries.
Through an extensive network of around 1,000 Shell branded service stations across the country, our quality fuel and convenience is never far away. We have the capability to deliver fuel across Australia, from big cities to some of the most remote locations in the most extreme conditions. Our supply chain has a proven record of safely and reliably delivering to keep our customers moving.
Building on a proud history of more than 110 years in Australia, we aspire to be known as one of Australia’s most respected energy companies, and demonstrate this through our commitment to safety and the environment, our customers, and our support for the communities in which we operate through our partnership with organisations such as headspace and the supply of low aromatic fuel to regional communities to help combat petrol sniffing.
At Viva Energy, we are building a company which is driven by the people who work for us, and truly reflects the passion, pride and personality of the 2,000 employees and contractors that choose to work here. Together we are committed to building Australia’s energy future.
